Tracker and reminders
Keep a note of what you sent, and when. FinalOut works out the key dates. You can add them to your own phone calendar yourself. Everything is saved only on this device.
The dates are estimates. The time limit starts when they receive your request, not when you send it. If they ask for ID, it starts when they get the ID. Weekends move to the next working day. UK bank holidays are not checked yet.
The time limits
- A company should reply to a data request "no later than one calendar month, starting from the day they receive the request". For complex or several requests, it can be up to three calendar months. (Source: ICO. Checked 25 October 2026.)
- Since 19 June 2026, a company has 30 days to tell you it has got your data protection complaint. Count from the day after it receives your complaint. This does not mean it must solve it in 30 days. (Source: ICO. Checked 25 October 2026.)
- Complain to the ICO within three months of your last real contact with the company. (Source: ICO. Checked 25 October 2026.)

Reminders
Want a reminder? Add it to your own phone calendar. Each date in your tracker has a button to add it to your calendar. We do not send reminders and we will never contact you, so you will need to check back yourself.
