Who we are

FinalOut is run by Dare to Accept Limited, company number 16010528, 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We are registered with the Information Commissioner, reference ZC138888.

What we collect

Nothing you type into the tool is sent to us. Your answers, letters and dates are saved only in your own browser on your own device. You can delete them at any time with the Delete my data button, or by clearing your browser data.

Analytics

FinalOut does not use analytics. We do not count or track visitors.

Read aloud

When you press Listen, you hear a recording we made in advance of our own page text. Nothing you type is ever sent to be spoken. Your letters are never read aloud by this voice.

Videos from YouTube

The Google page, the Instagram page and the Scam warnings page each have an optional official video. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you press play, your device connects to YouTube (Google) at youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube receives information such as your IP address and device details, and may set cookies or similar on your device. We do not receive any of this. Google uses it under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. If you are signed in to YouTube, the video may show in your YouTube history. See our Cookies notice.

Reminders

We do not send reminder emails or any other reminders, and we never contact you about your dates. We do not collect your email address for reminders. The tracker can make a calendar file for a date. If you want a reminder, you add that file to your own phone or calendar yourself, so the reminder comes from your own calendar, not from us.

Messages you send us

If you email us at hello@finalout.co.uk, we use your message only to reply. We delete normal emails 12 months after our last reply. If an email is about a complaint or a possible legal claim, we may keep it for up to 6 years, which is the usual UK time limit for bringing a claim. Then we delete it.

If you email us about advertising on FinalOut, we use your message only to reply to you. We delete it on the same 12 month rule.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of, or to delete, anything we hold about you, and you can complain to us. Email us at hello@finalout.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
